Frequently Asked Questions

What is The Collective?

The Collective is an ecosystem of practitioners working from an embodied, relational framework focused on lasting human change. We integrate systems thinking, nervous-system awareness, and embodied presence to support growth that is lived...not just understood.

How is this different from therapy or traditional coaching?

We honor the lanes of human work that came before us...community mental health, agency work, and the therapy world with its models and methodologies.

The Collective operates in a third lane: healing, growth, and expansion. Here, the practitioner is trained as a whole-body instrument, using embodied presence and relational intelligence to support integration and wholeness.

This work does not replace therapy or coaching. It deepens how change is facilitated.

What happens during a discovery call?

A discovery call is a grounded conversation...not a sales call.

We’ll explore what you’re navigating, what kind of support would be most helpful, and whether working together feels aligned.

You’re welcome to ask questions, meet more than one practitioner, or take time before deciding next steps.

Is a discovery call a commitment?

No. A discovery call is simply a starting point. There is no obligation to move forward.

Can I speak with more than one practitioner before choosing?

Yes. We welcome you to meet with multiple Collective practitioners...or speak with the founder...to find the best relational fit. We believe fit creates momentum.

What kinds of offerings do you have?

The Collective offers individual work, group coaching courses, community classes, and experiential programs throughout the year.

Your discovery call will help clarify which container is most supportive for you right now.

Do I need to know exactly what I want before booking?

No. Many people come to a discovery call with a sense that something wants to shift...without clear language yet. That’s okay.

Can I take group courses without 1:1 coaching?

Yes. Our group offerings are open to the community without a 1:1 requirement.

Will this feel like therapy?

This work intersects with healing and somatic awareness, but it is not a substitute for therapy. If you’re in active crisis, therapy support may be recommended first.

Is this work trauma-informed?

Yes. The work is grounded in nervous-system awareness and relational safety. At the same time, this is not therapy and does not replace clinical mental health support when needed.

Is this appropriate if I’m in crisis?

This work requires stability and self-regulation. If you’re currently in acute crisis, we recommend seeking appropriate therapeutic or emergency support first.

How do I get started?

Begin by booking a discovery call. From there, we’ll help guide you toward the right practitioner or offering.
